May You Rest in Peace, LeBaron

April 21, 2005 · John McGivney says he'd been having trouble with his car, a 1994 Chrysler LeBaron, for years. And he says he decided to put the car "out of its misery."

He took out a semi-automatic pistol and opened fire, blasting five rounds into the hood.

He was then arrested on firearms charges and spent the night in jail -- though he says it was worth every minute.

The police report, by the way, lists the car as "deceased."

- it sounded so much funnier when i heard it on the radio. darn. ; )
