《诗经·小雅·采薇》

昔我往矣，杨柳依依。

今我来思，雨雪霏霏。

When I left home that day,

Poplars clung to willows.

Return I — on my way,

Harsh snow swirls in billows.

行道迟迟，载渴载饥。

我心伤悲，莫知我哀

I trek — painfully slow,

Hunger and thirst haunt me.

My heart bears endless woe,

But who could truly see?
