stories. So, I picked up my camera and
began sharing my own experience,
showing the real life I saw around me
every day. Hi Niha, welcome back to
another video. I hope you guys are doing
well. I'm doing well too. If you have
not yet subscribed to my channel, please
go and subscribe and share my video with
your friends, family. You can send me a
super thanks or buy me a coffee. Thank
you for your support. As always, my
content was very focused on defending
China, correcting misconception, arguing
against biased narratives, and
highlighting the positive side. And
don't get me wrong, I still believe that
was important work. But over the time, I
realized something. Defending China
online is not easy. It's hard to change
people's minds once they have strong
opinions. No matter how many fact or
experience you share some people are not
open to listening or understanding
sometime that conversation lead to
argument that do not lead anywhere. The
political nature of some topics make
things complicated. People often see
things in black and white. It is
difficult to explain the full complex
reality behind headlines. For example, I
might share a video about a happy
festival I attended. But some viewers
only see the politics behind it and
ignore the joy I showed. No matter how
many time I explain, some people do not
want to listen or understand. The
negative comment can be very hard to
handle. Sometime I get angry message or
even a rude word. It can feel like no
matter what I say, some people just want
to argue. When you post a video
defending China, you face a hard
criticism, trolling, or even a personal
attack. I can feel like no matter what
you say, some people are only looking
for a reason to disagree. Some people
accused me of being a sissip ship. If
you praise China, you are brainwashed.
And here's the difficult part. If you
like or support something about China,
you are labeled as antinational. Or if
you say against your country that hurts
because liking one place does not means
you hate another. It's possible to love
and respect to the different culture at
same time. And here's something
important. If you want to praise
something good you see in another
country or learn from it to improve the
same thing in your country. That's a
positive thing. It means you want to
grow and make things better for
everyone. Back when I started making
videos, my mindset was pretty simple. I
saw lot of negative or one side coverage
about China. But very few were actually
showing the real life. So I wanted to
step in and share my own experience, the
good, the surprise, and the everyday
moments that people never see on news.
At the time, my goal was to defend China
from stereotype and misunderstandings
and to balance all the negativity I was
seeing. For some people, my video was
connected with them because they were
eager to see what life in China is
really like. For others, it was so
surprising to see the real life in
China. I wanted to show the different
side of the stories I saw in western
news. People told it was refreshing to
see another side of prospective. Some
people say if you press China you are
brainwashed. But that does not means I
am stopping making video about China
completely. I still plan to share the
travel story, culture and the
fascinating things I see here. But over
the time my perspective started to
change. I realized that China does not
always need me to defend it. It's not
just a country defined by criticism or
praise. It's a place full of real
people, dreams, struggles, and beauty.
And I wanted it to become a something
bigger. A place where people could
discover the beauty, culture, and
everyday life of China simply because
it's worth sharing. I wanted to share
the laughter, the kindness, the hidden
corners, and the real moments that make
this country so special. I found that
constantly being in defense mode kept me
locked into debate instead of exploring
new ideas. It limited my creativity and
it was not the best use of my platform.
I want this channel to be a place where
people come learn, discover new things
and feel inspired not just to argue over
who is right or wrong. China deserve to
be seen in all its colors. The good, the
challenging, the beautiful. I believe
the best way to people understand China
is not by defending it all the time, but
by simply showing it as it is, as it
truly is. I want to show you the real
China because I believe stories and real
experience help people understand more
than arguments ever will. I came here
because I wanted to learn, explore and
share the real life and culture of the
China with you. When I first came here,
there were lot of wrong ideas about
China. For many years, Western media
make China look bad. But now in 2025,
that's changing. People are seeing the
truth for themselves. Many people today
get information in new ways. They don't
just believe the old story about China.
They watch Tik Tok, YouTube and
Instagram or Red Note where they can see
real life in China. Young people in the
west feel much more positive about China
as compared to the older one. Why?
because they use internet travel more or
see lot of social media vloggers and
live streamers. Now instead of seeing
China as a political or conflict, many
people see it as a modern interesting
country with fast trains, high-tech
cities, beautiful landscapes and
friendly people that help other to
understand what China is really like.
This change make me hopeful. It shows
the world is becoming more open-minded
and that people are willing to look
beyond the old stereotype. Today people
get lot of their news and opinions from
YouTubers and social media star instead
of traditional news. These vloggers can
change how millions see a country and
that's happening with China right now.
These days people do not just relay on
the news channel to learn something
about any other country. They watch
influencer and vloggers online and
that's a big reason why opinion about
China is now changing. Let's take an
example. Recently a big YouTuber I show
speed traveled to China and he shares
the real experience with the people and
he got a millions of subscriber and
millions people watch his live stream.
So like many people change their
opinions about China after his visit and
there are another many vlogger who
traveled across the China and show the
real life of China. This kind of honest
unfiltered videos break the stereotype
much better than any official videos.
China also made it easy to visit
visa-free policy for many countries. Now
more people can come to China and see by
their own eyes and get the experience by
their own. It showed that China has
nothing to hide and want people to come
and experience the country without
filter and people are definitely coming
young backpackers, students and vlogger.
The more visitors share honest stories
about China, the less I have to explain
what daily life is really like here. The
true picture of life in China is
reaching people everywhere. Today social
media play a huge role. It will show you
what China is really like. China locals,
expert and bloggers share honest videos
and story. YouTube, Tik Tok and
Instagram. Other who visited China to
see the truth with their own eyes and
share it too. But now the things are
changing. If news outlet publish
something extreme or false about China,
thousand of people online, including
those living here, they quickly check
and correct that fact. At first, I felt
it was my job to fight against the wrong
information. But China is open now.
Anyone can come and see for themselves.
Every day, the truth is becoming clear.
When I started my channel, traveling to
China was almost impossible because of
the pandemic. Few foreigners were here,
so misinformation spread easily. Many
viewers were surprised to see China
modern cities, fast trends and happy
families. Things rarely shown in western
media. But for some people even I show
the normal street in China. People
called me is a propaganda. They said the
streets or people were fake or it was
computerenerated or not really that
clean. Now it is amazing how many people
see that China is not that backward
country. It is a dynamic, modern and
advanced nation. The old stereotypes are
fading. Even big influencer with
millions of followers are sharing
positive stories about China, helping
people around the world to see country
in a new light. Living here in China,
you can feel why this does not mean one
country is better than other. It means
China has become major power in the
world. China has become a major power in
world and will keep growing in influence
throughout this century and beyond.
There's no doubt about it. Economist
says China has already taken over from
US as the main force driving global
change in many ways. We see Chinese
technology being used all over the
world. Chinese tourism cultures are
spreading everywhere. So what does this
all mean for the future? It means China
will keep growing. So I have decided to
shift my focus. China does not need a
small YouTuber like me to defend it all
the time. China is strong and important
in the world. Now, China is more than
its politics, the headlines, more than
the western narratives or the government
statements. It's millions of individual
stories, landscape, tradition, and the
movement that deserve to be shared
simply because they are interesting and
more human. Instead of talking about
what others say about China, I want to
show you what China is really like from
my view as someone living here. I want
to take you to the hidden places, the
small towns and the busy cities. I
believe the best way to help people
understand China is not through
arguments but through storytelling
because China is like other countries.
Every country is not perfect but it does
not also mean it is the worst place to
live. I believe the best way to
understand this place is by seeing the
real life behind the headlines. The
story of real people living their daily
life and about discovering a side of
China that few people get to see because
traveling and living in different
country is one of the greatest way to
grow and improve because growth come
from openness. I still want to tell
truth about China but more in a personal
way. I will share more real life example
my life here. My main goal is still to
share my story and the truth about China
with you. I hope you guys have enjoyed
this video. If you have enjoyed this
video, do not forget to like, share, and
subscribe. I will see you in the next
video with another good topic. Till
then, bye-bye.
