世界名厨--喻波美国行之一.兵马未动,粮草先行.

与Cecilia商量了长达半年的Go Over,再由她老人家发了邀请函,我们焦急的等了几个星期后,结果喻波很顺利的拿到了美国签证.然后,Cecilia就开始张罗一个世纪晚宴,有美国烹饪学院,著名食评家,米其林星级餐厅的名厨们,美国的Iron chef, 等都翘首企盼着四月底喻波要给他们表演的那顿晚餐。从喻波拿到签证的那天起,Cecilia为了要安排好这顿盛宴,有来来回回20-30个电话,我的电话要占2-3个。每次,Cecilia来电话都是又有谁谁要来,食谱要怎样安排,怎样翻译,怎样配酒,餐具准备等等,大小巨细,一个不漏,九十多岁的人,思路之清晰,敏捷,记忆力之好,责任心之强,我看少有人与其相比。喻波那边,先开出了三十多道菜的菜单,凉菜十六道,热菜,小点,汤15道,甜品两道,听着都想吃,我一边抄写菜单,一边咽口水,真是忍了又忍。有很多人托人找Cecilia和我想参加这次盛宴,但由于座位有限,这次只能扼腕了。这次盛宴的地点还是Dan的家里,只有他家里有巨大的厨房和专业的厨具,光大冰箱就有5个。为了这次盛宴,喻波挑选瓷器就用了四天,而且其中先托运过来的部分,光包装和装箱就用了两个多小时。我收到后,开箱,检查破损就用了两个中午的时间。我把收到的瓷器先送到Dan家里完全拆开清洗,三个人用了两个半小时,才洗了一半不到,还好,Dan家里有佣人会接着洗完。说起瓷器,中国的瓷器的器型,对全世界瓷器,陶器,玻璃器皿的影响都有深远的影响,而西方的绘画,颜料,色彩,也对中国的瓷器有不可磨灭的贡献。喻波,做为一个名厨,是第一位把中餐的食物与各种器皿结合得最出众的,不管是清花,斗彩,天青,影青,粉彩,钧窑,珐琅彩,单色釉等,就是第一人了。
