十几年前，在我那townhouse租房的其中一间的3楼，一个5岁的男孩从窗口掉到楼下地上，摔成了植物人，打了半年官司，被判赔他家13M。
我们的建商是toll brothers，很大的公司，又派了一批lawyers ，上法庭，要求重审, 又过了半年，结果出来了，toll brothers 不必赔。
在美国，大案子的lawyers 好历害，可以翻案，吓死人。
你说，lawyers重不重要？很多中国人不信这个，都自己上法庭。。。。。。。
