Many Chinese people deride or decry his second marriage merely because of the vast age gap. Most people judge others based on their own experience, instead of the relevant facts. People usually deem that a young girl marrying a grandpa is equivalent to leaping into the hell fire. In retrospect, what we can be certain today is that the young wife has been cherishing and relishing their unpopular marriage. In addition, all her and his family members sincerely supported their marriage ever since. Hence we can deduce that there must be an unusual reason for the marriage. One likely reason is that the young lady had been obsessed with the aspiration to consort with him. One clue is that his two wives bear staggering resemblance in appearance at their young ages. It appears he was destined to have the second marriage.
Despite boisterous suspicions, their marriage lasted for two decades congenially. It turns out that the fidelity and intimacy within their marriage have been dwelling far from any venomous speculations. Today, it is unfair and contemptible to malign or ridicule their enduring marriage, which was apparently founded on genuine sentiments.
