少陵自有连城璧，争奈微之识碔砆。

Parallelism is but a pompous show,
Such walled pomp simply usurps the thoughts’ flow.
Though Du Fu’s poesy is a priceless gem,
Alas, Yuan Zhen’s praise lent it little glow.
