落叶 – （隋）孔紹安

早秋惊落叶，飘零似客心。

翻飞不肯下，犹言惜故林。

Drifting Leaves by Kong Shaoan (Sui Dynasty)

Fall comes early, leaves are startled off trees,

Drifting like many a wandering heart.

Fluttering, refuse to settle with ease,

As if saying from woods they cannot part.
