Robert B.Reich的观点还停留在唯意识形态对立的老思路上,他不能解释根本问题。社会主义已经脱离了生产资源公有制与计划经济的范畴;资本主义也不再是以前的拥有工厂的资本家,从而西方出现福利社会。社会发展呈现出,由以前的简单线性过渡到现代的复杂非线性。它需要社会有较强的协调能力。这在哲学上提出新挑战,而西方根本没有认识到。这种哲学上需求的整体观与动态观,使得计划经济与自由经济成为两个极端。人类已经真正地进入协调经济的时代。而美国还停留在唯意识形态的束缚下。更不幸的是,在人性恶的文化下,小政府的体制,与有限责任的权力组合在这个时代特征下,是自取其短。真正的社会主义,是协调各种矛盾,使得其能不极端。真理从来不在口号上,而在人如何做每一件事上。
