Serenade To Spring

Violine: Serenade To Spring Artist: Secret Garden Spring is finally here. Spring is a wonderful season to celebrate rebirth and new life. The long, cold winter is over. The weather is warmer and sunnier. The trees again have leaves and the flowers are blooming. The season represents hope, joy and beauty. Think Spring, I am thinking of 《Serenade To Spring》by Secret Garden. Secret Garden is a duo which features the Irish violinist Fionnuala Sherry and the Norwegian composer/pianist Rolf Løvland. Sherry said "The secret garden refers to a personal intimate musical idea and something natural and organic, something that comes from the heart;It's a place within all of us where we need to go to find balance and peace of mind and listen to the inner voice of our hearts." Ever since I heard their first music piece《A Song From Secret Garden》, I have fallen in love with Secret Garden. Its soothing melody always touches my heart. Over the years, I have listened to many of their albums including Songs from a Secret Garden, White Stones, Dreamcatcher, Once in a Red Moon,etc. Secret Garden enjoys great polularity in the world. Music is really a universal language. Løvland once said: "We prefer to think of our music as honest, straight from the heart, where the melody tells a simple beautiful story that can be understood no matter what language or what culture one has.
