I thought it meant that time flows like water,/> one-directional,/> non-stop,/> sometimes smooth and sometimes turbulent. After watching the TV series,/> my understanding has been greatly changed. As Wen said to Mo Mo at the end,/> “She came,/> she will leave,/> just like before”. That’s what “Shi Shui Nian Hua” means in essence. It is the destiny. Uncle Qi told Wen,/> “I have waited for my entire life and finally I met her. But I don’t know what that really means. I just wish you not to do that”.
