古天乐和郑秀文的绯闻在当年为无线拍摄《宠物情缘》时就已种下根基，而且是根深蒂固。可是当时女方有许志安，古天乐本身还是黄金己莹的男朋友，所以一段恋情就这样不了了之。

一直到后来两人于电影《百年好合》里再次合作，封尘已久的绯闻再次被炒得沸沸扬扬，甚至在后期拍摄《恋上你的床》时，郑秀文更被记者发现穿着浴袍到古天乐的酒店房去过夜。
