The best thing about being good-looking is not just the looks; it's that your voice and expressions are consistently validated and heard, and too in a positive light.

Atsuko -- She looks like a cute watermelon seed

I'm stealing "take me to America; the escape room of countries."

Japan too straight, 2nd Germany—no humor, please. “This is not an environment that could breed a comedian.”

Being half Japanese and having worked with a bunch of Japanese people who moved here from Japan, I can say that if they voluntarily move out of Japan to the states, there’s a high chance that their personalities clashed with the high conformity culture of Japan and they are considered the “weird” or “too outspoken” ones back home.

"She's my heartbeat...my person...my heartbeat...my soulmate...my everything." so sweet  As she giggles and smiles, lovely.

Maggie and Tony are adorable!

A friend, stong and kind all we need in a partner. As simple as it sounds but a foundation to 38 yearsof happiness and still going strong!

I wish you more than 10 years you lovely couple!

This is a very good illustration of something that a lot of Euro-Americans don’t think through properly. Well done and quite humorous as well.

It's also funny that her great grandmother is from Seoul, but his grandparents are from England. Her family has been in America longer than his has.

That's what schools get us ready for. Sitting quietly at desks.

I refuse to work in an office. Blue collar has drama. In an office, there's nothing else to do but drama. I'd rather spend my time mopping the rain than gossip with people who could fire you for your shoe size.

This is exactly why I decided to risk it all by choosing my music over a degree because in my hometown alone, there are hundreds of doctors unemployed and running small pharmacies.

Sure, but trying and not succeeding is... Chances are you wont succeed. Even if you are talented you have to now be in the top 0.01% to be mildly successful. And lets face it, most of you wont be.

Just because you are unique, does not mean you are useful. Become useful and people will always need people like you.

I don't understand 'The Office' humor - I've worked a handful of positions that had me in a cubicle very early on in my career and have never had to deal with the f*ckups and r*tards that are demonstrated in that show, and I can only assume feed into the negative view of offices.

Those positions didn't suck because the people didn't suck. We weren't stupid enough to choose careers that dead-ended at the service/sales level.

Oh, and don't get into coding. That shit will land you in a cubicle 80% of the time.

Young people these days think turning down a good-paying job for their dream of being a star is heroic. Not only is it not heroic or inspiring, you're not special enough to be a star in a world of billions where only a handful of people are truly stars. You will likely be ordinary like everyone else. When I accepted that and started working so hard I passed out every day, I somehow found myself to be the inheritor of a great multimillion-dollar fortune. Success only comes from hard work, you will not get it until you put your head down and go to WORK!
