我在读书时，曾读到作家Bob Moawad有这么一句值得令人深思的警句：
Some people succumb to cynicism. They lose their zest for life too early and really could have this as their epitaph:
Died at 40, buried at 80.
我喜欢这段文字，也觉得特别有趣，所以便试着将它翻译了出来：
”有些人在愤世嫉俗中死去。他们过早地失去了对人生的热忱。或许真应该将此作为他们的墓志铭：
死于四十，葬于八十。“
