能源圣杯!科学家宣称造出室温常压超导体 望挑战诺奖

又有研究人员宣称他们发现“能源圣杯”!3位韩国科学家在论文未定稿版本网站arXiv,刊登1篇可能改变人类发展进程的论文,声称制作出室温常压超导体。果真如此,即可实现革命性的能量零耗损。
该研究团队两篇相关论文获独立科学期刊arXiv刊登。其一的题目为“第1个室温、常压超导体”,指称他们以改良过的铅-磷灰石(LK-99)结构,成功合成出既能够在室温下、也能在常压下运作的超导体,即低于摄氏127度(华氏261度),跻身全球首例。已藉由迈斯纳效应等,证明其超导性。
该效应指当1个磁场用于超导体,1小股电流在其表面形成并抵消,使磁场被超导体拒斥。
另1篇论文则阐述LK-99的若干特性,例如在室温及大气压力皆低于临界温度下,出现迈斯纳效应,磁力线无法穿透超导体。由于该实验所需的条件并不难达成,接下来可望有许多研究人员和科学家,对前述发现予以反覆检验。
这种超导体在实用上包含大幅延长电池寿命、制造更快速的数位电子产品、使个人电脑的性能更佳、解决能源有限、无需氦来冷却的磁振造影机器,以及促进磁浮列车和核融合技术的研发等领域,显然能产生效率极高的输电线路,具难以置信的用处。
这3位韩籍学者为量子能源研究所的李姓(Sukbae Lee)及金姓(Ji-Hoon
Kim)科学家,还有高丽大学–韩国科学技术研究所(KU-KIST)的权姓(Young-Wan
Kwon)科学家。有学者认为,前述研究成果若为真,有望成为年度诺贝尔奖相关奖项的大热门。
