2009年10月1日，中华人民共和国成立60周年国庆阅兵在北京举行，三军女兵方队通过天安门广场。

　　据台湾TVBS电视台报道，在这次大陆国庆阅兵中，有一群特别亮眼的阅兵队伍，那就是大陆女兵；不管是三军女兵还是女民兵，整齐划一的踢正步都让中外媒体大开眼界。据台媒观察，大陆女兵踢正步的方式与台湾的“花木兰”其实有很大的区别，大陆女兵的正步1分钟走114步，台湾女兵踢“木兰步”小碎步，1分钟可以走144步。

报道说，大陆陆海空三军女兵，精神抖擞踢正步，在天安门司令台前，成为最亮眼的一群解放军；而身穿鲜红色裙装、搭配上白色长靴的女民兵，虽然不是专业军人，但同样的整齐划一，让大陆中央领导们眼睛为之一亮。

　　不过，仔细看看这些女兵们的动作，双手在胸前左右摆动，双脚踢正步的幅度，与男兵没什么两样；比照一下台湾女兵的“木兰步”，双脚是微微抬起的小碎步，因此，大陆女兵1分钟走114步，而台湾“花木兰”则是1分钟走144步。

　　报道赞叹，大陆女兵展现出来的飒飒英姿，一点都不输给其他的军种，果然也成功的吸引中外媒体的目光。
