这件制作精良并且外表华美的金制品是盎格鲁-撒克逊时期一个头盔的组成部分。 9月24日，现年55岁的特里·赫伯特用金属探测器在英国斯塔福德郡的一片农田中发现了英国历史上规模最大的盎格鲁-撒克逊时期黄金宝藏。据信，这批埋藏于地下的宝藏年代可追溯到7世纪，其中包括大约5公斤黄金和2.5公斤白银，数量远远超过此前在萨顿胡古墓遗址等地区发现的宝藏。
