加拿大温哥华（Vancouver）4月26日晚上发生严重交通意外，一架汽车冲入出席节庆的人群，造成至少9人死亡，包括一名儿童，另有至少6人受伤，涉事司机被捕，据警方指，疑犯为一名30岁的温哥华男子，又认为事件并非恐怖袭击。

温哥华警方指，事发于当地时间26日晚上8时左右，肇事汽车在东41街（E. 41st Ave.）与菲沙街（Fraser St.）交界处撞向参加街头节庆活动的民众，导致多人死伤。目前涉事男司机已被扣留调查，未知事发原因，警方有信心认为事件并非涉及恐怖主义。

BNO News及《纽约邮报》等传媒报道，意外现场当时正举行菲律宾节庆活动，纪念菲律宾首位民族英雄拉普拉普（Lapu Lapu）。根据网上多个流传的片段及照片显示，涉事的黑色SUV车冲入人群后，多人倒地，部分疑似已经丧生。

温哥华市长、港人移民后代的沉观健（Ken Sim）在社交平台X发文，称对事件感到震惊和极度垠哀痛，他向所有受影响人士表达慰问，并承诺会尽快披露更多消息。
