功能性长寿-"怎么才能不死?"读书笔记

最近把“怎么不去死-How not to
die”这本书买回来,打算仔细读一下,同时记笔记。书名起得有点倒胃口,做科学的人怎么会想长生不老的事情,同时无质量的长寿是很多人都反感的。其实读了书,才发现,美国的生活方式是温水煮青蛙,我们如不注意就会缩短自己的功能寿命,比起在中国的亲朋,尤其是长辈还更不健康。美国中老年人的典型时间表是:
55岁:高血压
60岁:心脑血管疾病(冠心病,脑血栓)
70岁:癌症
所以提前退休是多少人梦寐以求的。大多数慢性病,遗传的影响占10-20%。比如我家妈妈快80才得了糖尿病,所以如果我格外精心,可以把糖尿病的诊断推迟10年,或者更久。如果我不知不觉,可能就会70就得了。我的姥姥,姥爷都没有糖尿病,但是妈妈和姨妈都得了,这是不是就是生活方式上的区别呢?
美国人过去10年里人群的预计寿命已经在下降,更糟的是功能健全的年数少了两年。中年人想到老了,动不了,仿佛是很远的事情。但是吃不吃处方药就很近了,因为美国70%的人都在吃处方药。我家队友也每天吃2个药了。所以,我要把自己无处方药的年龄尽量延长,让自己有更多功能寿命。今年很注意保护眼睛,花眼,干眼的的问题没有严重,不用戴bifocal,
就感觉很好!
