美国康乃狄克州爆发重大校园枪击血案前几天，凶嫌亚当？蓝札（Adam Lanza）的母亲南西（Nancy）告诉朋友，儿子的状况「恶化」，說她「快要失去他了」。
英国「每日邮报」（Daily Mail）报导，这名消息人士說他和54岁的南西是康州新镇（Newtown）1间酒吧的「酒友」，几天前和南西聊天时听到她这番话。
亚当？蓝札14日朝母亲南西头部开了数枪後，驱车前往桑迪胡克小学（Sandy Hool Elementary School）滥射，杀害20名儿童和6名成人。
这名酒友知道亚当有问题，南西提到儿子时，比较喜欢谈长子莱恩（Ryan）的事情，鲜少提到亚当。
他也說，亚当有自残倾向。
他告诉每日邮报：「南西目光垂下，看著玻璃杯說『我不知道，我担心我快要失去他了。』」
「她說状况变得更糟。她没办法和他沟通。」
他說这不是南西第1次和他谈到儿子的问题。
他提到，约1年前，「南西告诉我，亚当用打火机烧自己皮肤，烧自己的脚踝手臂之类的，好像想要感觉到些什么」。
他說，南西本週稍早說的话似乎预示了这起悲剧。
「很奇怪，她从来没有认真讨论亚当的事，她主要都在讲大儿子（莱恩）。我知道她还有个儿子，但她从来不会讲太多他的事。」
