“乃姬”职业是兽医，照片中有她和很多小动物的自拍生活照。起初，由于不知道她的真实姓名，只知道其自称为“乃姬silencepop”，且从其博客中了解到她可能姓刘，因此“刘乃姬同学”便成为网友对她的称呼。

随后，网友对“刘乃姬同学”进行了铺天盖地的人肉搜索。最终知晓其真实姓名为刘乃洁，英文名Judy（Orz，英文名都真么魅惑)，台湾台北人。
