最近日本片商推出《活着》纪念版DVD，里面特别收录1993年拍摄该片时从未曝光过片断，更有张艺谋、巩俐亲密镜头。间中纪录巩俐刻苦拍戏而导致腰酸背痛，导演张艺谋便亲历按摩，爱护有加；另外还有张艺谋和巩俐在拍摄间隙躲在山丘背后聊天情景，有说有笑甚是甜蜜。
