美军袭击委内瑞拉附近海域“贩毒船只”，船上4人死亡

当地时间10月3日，美国国防部长赫格塞思表示，美军打击一艘“贩毒船只”并在行动中打死4人。

赫格塞思称，行动发生在国际水域，靠近委内瑞拉海岸。

白宫亦表示，该船上有足以杀死2.5万至5万人的毒品。

赫格塞思表示，自己指挥了一次致命打击，针对美国南方司令部辖区内一艘“隶属于指定恐怖组织”的运毒船。

他还写道：“当时该船正运送大量毒品，准备前往美国毒害我们的人民。我们的情报部门毫无疑问地证实，这艘船正在贩毒，船上人员是毒品恐怖分子，而且他们正在一条已知的贩毒中转路线上活动。这些打击将持续下去，直到对美国人民的攻击结束！”
