加拿大男子在美国旅游期间，声称9岁女儿被人绑架。纽约警方接案后找回女童遗体，经调查，发现死者父亲有重嫌，遭警方拘捕并控以二级谋杀及藏匿尸体罪。
讹称女儿遭两男绑走
据外媒报道，纽约州警于21日表示，9岁女童加拉尼斯（Melina Galanis Frattolin）的父亲弗拉托林（Luciano Frattolin），于19日晚10时许报警，声称女儿在87号州际公路22号出口附近可能遭绑架。20日清晨，警方在上州蒂康德罗加（Ticonderoga）靠近佛蒙特州边界搜查。上午10时50分，纽约州警在池塘浅水区发现加拉尼斯的遗体。
据了解，加拉尼斯与父亲于7月11日从加拿大合法入境美国度假，原定7月20日返回蒙特利尔（Montreal）。梅琳娜与母亲居于加拿大，其父母自2019年起分居。

闭路电视显示，加拉尼斯于19日下午5时30分在萨拉托加斯普林斯（Saratoga Springs）与父亲同行，6时30分与母亲通话，当时“看似健康，未表示有任何压力”。警方相信弗拉托林在通话后至晚上10时报警前谋杀女儿。
弗拉托林最初声称因小便在停车场停车，前往树林后返回发现女儿失踪，称见到一辆白色货车南行，其后又指两名男子强行把女儿带走。
州警表示，经调查证实白色货车的说法不实。女孩死因待验尸结果，动机仍在调查。警方称弗拉托林无犯罪记录或家庭暴力背景，度假行程包括康州及纽约市。
