据泰国《曼谷邮报》报道，应不丹国王吉格梅·凯萨尔·纳姆耶尔·旺楚克的邀请，泰国国王哇集拉隆功4月25日起开启对不丹为期四天的国事访问。《曼谷邮报》援引社交媒体的照片显示，拥有飞行员资质的哇集拉隆功本人驾驶一架皇家飞机，泰国王后素提达则担任副驾。

此外，《曼谷邮报》还称，哇集拉隆功将于下周一（28日）结束此次访问，这也是他在位后的首次正式海外国事访问。
