据悉，机上的5名乘客来自一个西班牙游客家庭，包括2名成人和3名儿童。
纽约市消防局（FDNY）告诉《纽约邮报》，下午3点15分左右，目击者看到直升机在西休斯顿街和西街的40号码头附近坠毁，“一分为二”，救援工作正在进行中。
