加拿大消防官员今天表示，由于野火肆虐，加国东北部约有9000人被迫疏散。

法新社引述当地消防官员莫蒂（Jeff Motty）的说法报导，纽芬兰省（Newfoundland）和拉布拉多省（Labrador）的拉布拉多市和瓦布希市（Wabush）居民被勒令离开家园。

莫蒂表示，“我们发现当地有严重的火灾。火势每分钟蔓延约50米。”

联邦当局昨天表示，入夏以来的天气状况有助控制野火，但该国正进入野火高峰季节。
