　　黄玉美一生充满传奇，5岁时在美国夜总会“紫禁城”担任舞蹈员，50年代到欧洲劳军5年，之后返美加入“杂碎马戏团”演趣剧。70年代，黄玉美开设为美籍亚裔演员而设的经理人公司，也担任过《艺伎回忆录》的选角助理。她也主演过几部电影包括以唐人做背景由尊龙主演的《龙年》及罗素(王盛德)主演的《梦断龙城》，而遗作为2006年的《傻豹遇着乌Sir Sir》。

　　除了黄玉美外，日本卡通片集《超时空要塞》美版《Robotech》的制作人Carl Macek日前也因心脏病发离世，享年58岁。(俐俐)
