2010年1月24日12时38分，在2008年北京奥运会上夺得金牌的世界拳王张小平和刘楠楠的婚礼在呼和浩特市香格里拉饭店准时举行。婚宴现场有马头琴表演，拳击界的一些好朋友也专程到场祝贺。由于新郎与新娘都是蒙古族人，而且从小都在内蒙古锡林郭勒大草原上长大。因此张小平和刘楠楠对美丽辽阔的内蒙古大草原有着无法释怀的感情，所以今天的婚礼充满着蒙古族风情。其实，两人早在去年11月18日就已经领取了结婚证书。新娘刘楠楠可谓才貌双全，2004年从南开大学毕业后在河北秦皇岛开办了一家旅行社。目前刘楠楠有两家旅行社要经营。今年原本并没有打算举办婚礼。但两家老人有些等不及了，今天举行婚礼也算是达成长辈们的一个心愿。
