当晚七点左右，记者在望京附近某餐厅外见到与几位友人吃完饭的周海媚。刚刚酒足饭饱的她看上去心情不错。在笑着与友人告别后，周海媚开车向着郊区家的方向驶去。原本记者也以为其会直接回家。不料在北京的环线路上兜了一大圈之后，周海媚的车子却突然转头再次朝着进城的方向开去。记者不敢怠慢一路紧跟。发现最后周海媚来到了距离刚刚吃饭地方没多远的一家高档酒店，而在停车的时候，周海媚停停开开费了好大劲儿才把车子停到了停车场最隐蔽的一个车位上——看样子，她应该是不想让人知道自己来到这个地方

记者本以为她是来此会友的，不过很快我们就发现推测失误了。只见其低头快步来到服务台，而后又很快的从包中掏出钱包拿出类似身份证似的一张东西交给服务人员——很明显是在开房间。而一旁的几位工作人员似乎已经认出了这位明星，微笑服务的同时不停偷瞄美女。不过一直低着头的周海媚对此并没有察觉。很快，周海媚就办好了入住手续，而后工作人员便将其领到电梯旁，并最终送其上楼。而楼下，也只留下一头雾水的记者目送其远离视线。
