大暴雪侵袭欧洲大陆 英国数百民众被困百货公司

据英国广播公司22日报道，欧洲由于近日出现的连续暴风雪和严寒天气，已有90多人被冻死或死于交通事故，许多地区的交通一片混乱。 　　仅周二一天，波兰就有10人被冻死。

　　加上过去几天，波兰已有79人死于恶劣天气。该国警方呼吁公众对于无家可归之人和醉卧街头者伸出援手。

　　欧洲大部分地区公路、铁路和空中交通周二持续受到严重影响。包括伦敦在内的欧洲主要城市机场要么关闭要么航班大部分取消，很多旅客被迫在机场过夜。

　　但英法之间的“欧洲之星”列车在因故障停运三天后于周二开始“有限运行”，但疏导数千名受困旅客的工作估计需要几天才能完成。

　　周一(12月21日)下班时间伦敦和英格兰大部地区遭遇的一场大雪再次给交通造成混乱一直持续到周二整天。

　　伦敦希思罗机场周一晚开始取消所有国内和欧洲航班以保证其它主要国际航班的起降。但英国东南部铁路运营周二仍一片混乱。

　　气象预报说，未来几天欧洲的风雪严寒将会继续。

据英国广播公司12月22日报道，由于在外出进行圣诞采购时遭遇风雪阻挡，英国上百名民众有家归不得，被迫夜宿百货公司。

报道称，英格兰中部的白金汉郡于当天下午开始普降暴雪，道路难以通行，而此时在当地一家百货公司内尚有50多名顾客以及50多名店员。

商店董事黛博拉说：“我们不能将大家赶进风雪中，考虑众人的安全问题，我们决定招待上百人在店内躲避风雪。”

商店向众人提供食物，还让所有人睡在家具部门的大床上，不少儿童跑到玩具部门，玩得不亦乐乎。一名顾客说：“真的太好了，孩子们完全喜欢上了这里，他们把这里当作了玩具的世界。所有人对百货公司的善行都感谢不已。”
