好莱坞电影里的中国元素是越来越多了。过去往往表现的仅是中国的功夫，现在不仅有中国的文化融入其中（如《功夫熊猫》，《木乃伊3》），而且中国作为一个强大的力量也开始被表现了，如最近正在上映的《2012》。
散粉思考者看到国内媒体说此片有很多中国元素，鼓吹中国拯救世界，本人也冲着这一点去看了这部电影。结果发现其实没中国人什么事儿？看不到什么中国的贡献，方舟是在中国制造和出发，但方舟也是48国的计划。
在英文原片里我也没有看到他们说只有中国人能完成这样的任务。而中国军人的形象也是严肃，不近人情。倒是给了喇嘛不少光彩。片中给俄国人的分量还是很多，而我们中国就是个世界工厂的角色。散粉思考者觉得是国内这种中国拯救世界的论调就是为了刺激票房。所有上面这些影片里的中国“力量”表现和我下面所说的电影相比真是小巫见大巫。好莱坞正在翻拍一部大片《赤色黎明》(Red Dawn)，竟让解放军大举侵入美国！散粉思考者有幸实拍到了拍摄现场，特别和大家分享。
《赤色黎明》是米高梅1984年的一部动作片，假想了苏联入侵美国小镇，几个美国小孩凭借一己之力击败了“敌人”的故事。这次重新翻拍，故事未变，但“敌人”换成了中国军队。在好莱坞的影片里，常常把俄罗斯作为假想敌，现在这个假想敌变成中国了，看来中国在美国的心中的确是强大了。这部影片由Dan Bradley执导将于2010年9月24日上映。不知国内会不会也同时放映这部片子。汤姆·克鲁斯14岁的养子康纳·克鲁斯加盟这部影片，其他演员还包括《变形金刚2》里的机器美女伊萨贝拉·卢卡斯(地心历险记3D》里的童星乔什·哈彻森。
