2月16日晚，由《时尚先生》杂志主办的“2009年度时尚先生盛典”在京盛大举行。久未露面的刘涛以名流身份盛装出席，被问及是否复出的问题时，刘涛笑而不答。

　　刘涛受邀出席2009年度时尚先生盛典，并作为颁奖嘉宾颁发年度风尚艺人奖给房祖名。当晚，刘涛与任泉一同踏上红地毯，刘涛一袭银色水晶露背晚装搭配黑色皮草亮相，尽显贵妇风范。此前，刘涛健身被媒体拍下，外界盛传刘涛在筹备复出，而现场求证时，刘涛却笑而不答。

　　当晚冯小刚、蔡康永、李开复、刘谦、白岩松、小S等也悉数到场，刘涛则以社会名流身份出席该话动。
