据法新社报道，今年的巴黎名媛舞会有来自12个国家的24位名门少女参加，其中的两位是中国人：一位是中共政治局常委、政协主席贾庆林的外孙女，音译名叫雅思曼- 李或李茉莉（Jasmine Li），另一位是澳门赌王何鸿燊的孙女，音译名叫艾丽尔-何(Ariel HO-KJAER)。
今年巴黎名媛舞会由贾庆林的外孙女和好莱坞影星惠特克的女儿开场。开场舞曲是斯特劳斯圆舞曲，随后很快转为麦克-杰克逊的歌曲"比利金"。
奇怪的是，中国新华网今天转引中新社这条消息时，并没有透露为今年巴黎名媛舞会开场的主角--贾庆林的外孙女。反而突出报道澳门赌王何鸿燊的孙女，并刊出两幅何孙女身着豪华长裙的照片。
中国官方媒体还特别强调说，过去受邀参加过这一舞会的中国名媛还有万宝宝和陈晓丹等人。知情者都晓得，万宝宝和陈晓丹分别是中共元老万里和陈云的孙女。
