　　 据英国媒体报道，来自英国的一个团队一直致力于打破世界纪录。他们试图使用一辆造型奇特，如同飞碟的跑车打破保持了近百年之久的陆地蒸汽动力车世界最快纪录。目前的纪录是每小时145.607英里，“飞碟车”的目标是达到每小时200英里的极限速度。

　　据悉，接下来的几周这辆“飞碟车”将在汉普郡进行试跑。驾驶该车的司机Don Wales称这是项冒险，但很有趣。
