　　但二者的身份却无从得知，引发了人们热门的猜测。

　　是外星人吗？通过近距离的观察发现，该神秘面具的眼周设有小孔，以方便其呼吸和看东西，从而排除了其外星人的可能性。

　　有人猜测说是二人是想引人注意的明星，或者爱搞怪的恶作剧者，抑或是推广某一新产品或恐怖电影而想出的怪招，也有人说面具遮盖的是一双明星脸，他们想借此举来躲避狗仔队的跟踪。

　　一名博主写道：“不管其出于何种目的，我都想加入他们的“神秘”行列。”
