尤其啊苗的杨康 那更是无人能及。
苗侨伟自从迎娶戚美珍之后就专心一意做个好丈夫、好父亲，丝毫没有当初杨康的野心和权欲。家庭之外，更是善于经商理财，现已经气定神闲地坐上艺视眼镜集团主席之位。回首往昔星路，他会精明地地说："做生意和拍戏是两码子的事。做生意不单要向自己交代，还要向股东和顾客交代，因为他们要付钱买你的产品，要兼顾的事情亦好多；但拍戏则不同，拍戏就好似打工，你只需要向自己交代便可，跟别人每日在电视是免费看你做戏，感觉是两回事，但做演员的生涯确实是好开心，也让我回忆好多好开心的事。"豁达而实际，苗侨伟比他演过的任何一个角色都更悠游。
说到自己塑造了“杨康”之后的退出，苗侨伟虮硎荆?背醺芯跹菀帐乱得环⒄梗?罄从肿錾?饬恕Ｈ缃窀闯觯?且蛭?约貉У搅撕芏唷！?0年的时间，我做生意认识了很多人，看到了外面的世界，我经历了很多。而且，我不会发脾气，就是在这个时间内学会很多东西。”
一部TVB和央视合拍的年度大戏《岁月风云》、一部云集了原“无线四虎”的电影《兄弟之生死同盟》，让阔别演艺圈多年的帅气“杨康”苗侨伟又重回观众视线，人气上升的同时也一举获得TVB40周年台庆最佳男主角提名。
