用机敏灵透、秀质慧心来形容胡静是最合适不过的了。看惯了娱乐圈中的各式美女，见了胡静，吸引你的并不是她的美丽外表，而是胡静身上所特有的爽朗真实的个性和生活气息颇浓的气质。《孝庄秘史》之后的胡静片约不断，而且大多是主演。她那张俏丽的脸常被人们跟“台湾第一美女”萧蔷比较。不过她自己认为萧蔷犹如一朵牡丹，而自己更像一支百合。
如今“演而优则唱”的艺人不在少数，影视演员胡静也将跨入到歌手的行列中，胡静表示，自己并不是凑热闹，而是“终于下决心做自己喜欢的做的事”。为了做这张专辑，胡静一年都没有拍戏，特别跑到新加坡跟李思菘和李伟菘老师学习发音方法，“在唱歌上我是新人，想多花些功夫学。”
胡静说，参加“舞林大会”后，有很多唱片公司找上们来，“他们勾起了我唱歌的欲望，所以就下决定要把这件事做好。”因为有舞蹈功底，胡静这张取名为《爱不出卖》的首张专辑将呈现出舞曲风格，而胡静以后也将以歌手和演员的双重身份出现在大家面前。
