中国驾照可以在IL租车

因为最近亲戚要来美国，我俩计划不是8月份就是12月份出去玩，所以我刚才就打电话给budget的租车公司问了一下。人家说可以，我问他does he have to translate his chinese driver license into english, the lady on the phone told me no, but in order for him to rent a car, they need to have his address in america.
但我想保险起见，还是应该在中国翻译和公正一下，以防万一。
