回到家跟大家商量，有三位女士说应该要400 Credit（每家100），我说400 太多了，每天用十分钟洗碗也不是什么大事。最后为了照顾女士们的情绪我向房东提出了200：“Thanks for coming to check dishwasher. My wife told me that dishwasher would not work because of electricity problem. If this is case, can you give us $200 credit ？”
房东看了我message, 马上说我要的credit 是合理的：“Ok that is fair. Sorry for the inconvenience. You never know when something like that will happen. I will send the credit through Airbnb. Thanks for your patience. Enjoy the 4th!”
我们退房后，这是房东给我写的review:
Jxxx had a very nice group of family and friends and communicated very effectively when we had a problem with the dishwasher and were very kindly allowed us to come and service the dishwasher. It turned out it was an electrical issue and because it was the day before July 4th an electrician was unavailable. We worked out compensation for their inconvenience of not having a dishwasher and they were very understanding of the situation. We are happy they enjoyed their vacation and would love to have them back.
