Respect after 30 Years

On the way from the church service to the cemetery, the funeral procession passes by a lake. There is a man sitting and fishing.

As the man sees the procession, he stands, removes his hat and bows to it.

After the funeral, the pastor heads back and passes the lake again.

He thinks: “That was a kind gesture from the fisherman. I should speak with him about it.”

So he goes to him and says:

“I found that you did right thing when you bowed to the funeral procession.”

The fisherman looks at him and says:

“Oh you know, Mr. pastor …. After 30 years of marriage, you just show a little respect.”

30年后的尊敬

参加葬礼的人的队伍在从教堂里的仪式结束后，在到墓地的路上，路过了一个湖。一个钓鱼的人正在那里坐着钓鱼。

看到队伍经过，那个人起身，脱帽，鞠躬。
