Years ago while assigned to Europe on business, observed an interesting phenomenon between Jeep Cherokee and Land Rover Discovery, two similar true SUV\'s.
In London, a Cherokee would sale for about 30-40% more than a Discovery of similar configuration.
In the States, a Discovery would sale for about 30-40% extra over a similarly configured Cherokee.
The question that you have to answer now is: Are you paying for something really better, or just import tax and dealer profit?
