Ivanka Trump was named to this year's Time 100 list, and profiled by her closest gal pal Wendi Deng.
In the magazine, Deng wrote about her 12-year friendship with Ivanka, and how inspiring the 35-year-old mother-of-three is to her and young women around the world.

不仅帮介绍，据《美国周刊》网站爆料，2008年伊万卡和贾瑞德差点儿分手，还是邓文迪帮忙撮合的。
《美国周刊》网站援引《纽约客》的报道称，当年伊万卡和贾瑞德因为双方宗教信仰不同而闹分手，邓文迪将两人请到当时老公默多克的游艇上，但是事先并没告诉他们还请了另一方。
According to The New Yorker’s August 22 profile of the pair, Deng, now 47, invited Trump, 34, and Kushner, 35, on her and then-husband Rupert Murdoch’s yacht in an attempt to reconcile their broken relationship. However, Deng didn’t alert the real estate heirs that she had invited both of them.
After Trump and Kushner broke up over their religious differences (Kushner is Jewish and Trump was Presbyterian at the time), Deng called Kushner (publisher of The New York Observer) and said, “You’re working so hard. Come with Rupert and me on the boat for the weekend,” according to The New Yorker.
Once Kushner arrived, he reportedly found that Trump had also been invited on the family’s boat.

Ivanka and husband Jared Kushner were also part of the select group invited to Jordan in 2010 for Chloe and Grace's baptism, who are now 13 and 15 respectively.
They attended the event alongside Queen Rania and the girls' godparents Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman.

Ivanka and Deng are so close that the first daughter was selected as one of five people on a board tasked with overseeing the trusts of Grace and Chloe Murdoch - Deng and ex-husband Rupert Murdoch's two daughters.
She stepped down from her role at the end of December however when she made the decision to travel to Washington DC for the next four years.
