I had my first cat when she was 3. I always kept her food in full, let her eat all day long as the way she demanded and liked. She gained some weight from 9lbs to 12. Then she liked pee out of the litter boxes ( I provided 2 for her!). Then I was frustrated and put her out of the house. She never run away. She stayed in the front court yard and in the patio. And she run to the street to welcoming mom to come home. And she could follow me to take walk every night with out a leash for half month before her passing. She disappeared in all the sudden after a longest walk! I though she either got caught by the coyote, or just run away to be hidden in the bushes to take a long sleep ( since the long walk and her old age both made her very tired), and never able to be woke up! She was 16! She was a human-cat! She could answer me, she could remind me, she could wake me up when I over slept or forgot to turn the alarm on! I was so regret for the over fed! She might been suffered by the diabetes! So I am now only feeding my little kitty twice a day, plus water melon skins, radishes( either of them), tender grasses, and always keep adding the boiled drinking water to her dry food. She likes the carrots as well. But I do not feed the radish with the carrots together. Since the human are not supposed cook and eat them together. I think the animals are the same.

The owner is crazy! The cat is very sick! Like human, overweight could cause diabetes and heart and blood pressure diseases! The poor cat is hard to be stood and walked, and he is going to lost his vision of the left eye, then right. Then die! The stupid owner is abusive, could be charged by animal cruelty!
