"As a community organizer in the Altgeld Gardens public housing project in the mid-1980s, Obama, then 23, quickly emerged as a tireless and pragmatic advocate for the community—traits that characterize the kind of president he says he wants to be. "His work as a community organizer was really a defining moment in his life, not just his career," his wife, Michelle, told U.S. News. It helped him decide "how he would impact the world"—assisting people in defining their mutual interests and working together to improve their lives."

Yes, CCP has the opportunity to create a system like that. But, they are not willing to take the opportunity to do that, and I am afraid CCP would miss the opportunity. Why? Because CCP loves the "Iorn Bowl" so much.

Dvorak:
The one party system you mentioned does not necessarily mean only one party is allowed in the society. The point here is "No Iorn Bowl". The presence of other parties are necessary to pressure on the ruling party even though they might not win the election. In the United States, even though the Democrat and Republican are the 2 major parties, other parties play very important roles in shaping the overall political culture and the policies.

That is exactly what I mean. But the other parties have no chance or scarcely have chance to rule. CCP has the opportunity to create a system like that.

Different political systems:
1. One person (or one family) dictatorship (North Korean, Saudi Arabia).
2. One party authoritarianism (China).
3. One party democracy (Singapore, Malaysia).
4. Two party democracy (US, Britain, India, Thailand).
5. Multiple party democracy (Russia).
The best bet for China is to transform one party authoritarianism into one party democracy.
