美国纽约市出租车委员会日前公布说，纽约一些出租车司机通过调高计价器资费标准，两年多来疯狂“宰客”，多收费用达830多万美元。依据出租车车载定位装置所记录的数据，过去26个月内，全市出租车共有大约3.61亿次载客车程，其中至少180万次存在“宰客”行为，受骗乘客平均每次车程多花4.45美元。纽约市登记在册的出租车数量约为4.83万辆，2007年开始按要求安装车载全球定位装置。
