近年两岸三地和日韩连环爆出艺人吸毒事件，而TVB新剧《美丽高解像》内容踢爆电视台不为人知的秘闻，当中包括花旦博上位的卑鄙手段，花旦被包实况，一姐为保美貌整容事件等。

不过最敏感是揭露电视台吸毒丑闻，监制徐遇安承认故事取材自圈中真实个案，而且是圈中人所见所闻，此话证明吸毒已经成为圈内见怪不怪的事情，实在令人大吃一惊。
