这是黄河三角洲国家级自然保护区一景（12月6日摄）。黄河三角洲国家级自然保护区目前已成为鸟类重要的繁殖地和迁徙中转站。每年迁徙路过保护区的鸟类有 600万只，有43种鸟类超过全球总数量的1％，是名副其实的鸟类“国际机场”。近年来，自然保护区采取了一系列保护和治理措施，不断开展鸟类科研与监测工作，加之国家对黄河实施科学调水，黄河三角洲湿地生态环境得到明显改善，保护区的鸟类日益丰富。据统计，鸟类种类和数量由1990年建区时的187种增加到目前的296种，占中国鸟类总种数的1／5，现有中国国家一级重点保护鸟类丹顶鹤、白头鹤、白鹤、大鸨、东方白鹳、黑鹳、金雕、白尾海雕、中华秋沙鸭、遗鸥10种，国家二级重点保护鸟类49种。黄河三角洲湿地总面积15.3万公顷，其中核心区5.8万公顷。保护区建立以来，先后被批准加入“中国人与生物圈保护区网络”、湿地国际亚太组织“东亚——澳洲涉禽保护区网络”“东北亚鹤类保护区网络”。近日，随着国务院正式批复《黄河三角洲高效生态经济区发展规划》，黄河三角洲地区的发展上升为国家战略，成为国家区域协调发展战略的重要组成部分，对湿地保护将起到更大推动作用。新华社
