《Esquire》（中译名《时尚先生》）年度全球最性感女性出炉！凯特·贝金赛尔力压群芳当选。前两年这一头衔获得者分别是查理兹·塞隆和哈里·贝瑞，而粉丝们看到凯特为Esquire拍摄的特辑后只有一个反应：她比两位奥斯卡影后辣多了！
Esquire11月刊公布了对36岁英国演员的嘉奖，标题是：“活着的最性感女性”。贝金赛尔本人得知这一消息后的第一反应竟是无言以对，她告诉Esquire杂志：“你们怎么能给我戴这么个高帽子呢？这会让我很有压力的。”看来她不仅性感，还很幽默。

不过别误解了她的本意，贝金赛尔对于能当选感到非常激动，她补充到：“当然我很开心能当选，我甚至感觉我必须得到这个头衔，为了与之相匹配，我得变得更完美，我想尝试钢管舞或别的方法保持身材。”

英伦美人凯特·贝金赛尔因主演二战题材巨片《珍珠港》一夜成名。此后又主演《黑夜传说》和《范海辛》。在这两部神秘气息弥漫的影片中，凯特分别饰演一名武艺高超的吸血鬼女战士和身手敏捷的贵族猎手，而且为完成影片中的高难度动作还曾苦练枪法与格斗，影片上映后，所有对她的疑虑都偃旗息鼓，谁都没有想到斯斯文文的凯特竟然具备动作女星的天分。
