《建国大业》围绕中共中央在1948年发出的举行政协会议的号召展开，再现中国共产党人与中国民主党派在漫长的革命岁月里结下的深厚情谊，再现政协会议诞生历程。
为庆祝中国建国六十周年，中影集团携手中央电视台电影频道等制作单位共同投资拍摄的超级巨制电影《建国大业》定于9月17日全国公映。但是在此之前举行的的看片会后，又有许多新的剧照出炉。
